Rocklin and Roseville Schools Vote For 5-Day In Person Instruction

Get ready for a big change in your routine after the holiday break!

KCRA is reporting that Rocklin Unified and Roseville Joint Union High School boards both voted to expand in person classes in January. Here's what to prepare for:

Students will go every day M-F for half a day.  They will be split into two groups. One will go in the morning, the other will attend in the afternoon beginning January 19.

The school board also voted to resume full day instruction after April 2 or when Placer county moves into the Orange Tier for two weeks, whichever comes first.

Students will resume five days a week "early out" schooling beginning January 5th. The students will return to campus for a shorter day. The board plans to move to expand the school day and resume a normal lunch period as health metrics improve.
